Tongue & Groove:
Joints that allow two flat pieces to be joined strongly together to make a single flat surface.

Solid Click Floor:
Using a click system to join the planks together.

Finishes
The condition of the surface of our bamboo planks.
6 coats of 5th generation Klumpp coating. A combination of Klumpp and Bayer technology. Durable Klumpp coatings low-gloss finish system provides the wear protection of aluminium oxide with two polyurethane scratch-resistant topcoats. Coating is water-based and solvent-free. Meets US European (E1) standards for off-gassing, which is the evaporation of volatile chemicals in non-metallic materials at normal atmospheric pressure.

Hardness
The Janka Hardness Test is one of the best measures to test how well a wood species can withstand denting and wear. It measures the force required to embed a 0.444 inch steel ball to half of its diameter in the tested wood.

Dimensional Stability
We conducted the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) D1037 test to evaluate the linear variation of bamboo planks in relation to change in moisture content. The following is the results at 90% RH:
Expansion Parallel of 0.15%
Expansion Perpendicular of 2.16%
Thickness Swell of 1.39%.
Formaldehyde Emission
Formaldehyde is a chemical compound with the formula H2CO. It is classified as a probable human carcinogen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and can cause allergies.
E1 - Within recommended World Health Organisation levels.
Installation
Staple, float or glue is recommended, using Sika product: T55 or Unlin clic.
